Description

The Zero Round Smart is a slim LED ring pendant light, 98cm across and just 3cm tall, that hangs level from the ceiling on two fine wires. Its light comes from a narrow band running round the inside of the ring, from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 47W and gives 4079lm with a CRI of 90, plenty to light a dining table or the middle of a living room with colours that look true. It comes in 2700K or 3000K, and in White, Black, Brushed Champagne, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass or Brushed Titanium.

We think it suits dining rooms and living rooms best, where a wide circle of light over a table or a seating area pulls the room together. With a drop of up to 500cm, it can hang low over a table or sit higher under a tall ceiling. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. There are two canopy versions. The version with canopy is the dimmable one: it dims over Zigbee, and its canopy is 20.6cm across. The version without canopy, for multi-pendant canopies, hangs from one of those canopies, which are sold separately, so several pendants can share one fixing on the ceiling.

The ring is one slim, unbroken band, finished all the way round in your chosen colour, whether the plain White and Black or the four brushed finishes, and at 3cm tall it keeps a light, quiet line in the room. It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in to the mains by an electrician, so plan for a qualified electrician to install it. The 24V DC version needs a remote 24V DC driver, which is not included and is sold separately; the driver supplies the ring with its power. Settle on your finish, colour temperature and canopy version together before installation day. Our photographs show the white version.
