Description

The Zero Ellipse is a pendant light made from a slim band of aluminium shaped into an oval, 130cm long and 59cm wide, with a section 3cm tall. Its finish is Brushed Titanium, a soft grey metal, and a white diffuser runs around its underside. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: it draws 47W and gives 4079 lumens with a CRI of 90, which keeps food, fabrics and skin tones looking true. We offer it in two colour temperatures, 2700K or 3000K, so you can choose a warmer or a slightly crisper white when you order.

Its long oval shape makes it a natural choice over a dining table, where it follows the line of the table, or above the seating in a living room. It hangs on thin suspension wires with a maximum drop of 500cm, so it also suits high ceilings and double height spaces. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only. The pendant comes without its canopy: you need a Zero Round ceiling canopy, sold separately, which fixes to the ceiling and holds a built-in 60W 24V driver for each pendant. Choose the single canopy, or one for 2, 3 or 4 pendants if you want to hang several together.

The pendant runs on mains, wired in by an electrician through its canopy's built-in 24V DC driver, which feeds it at 24V DC; it is a Class III fitting. A qualified electrician should install the canopy and pendant together. Dimming comes through the canopy, which is DALI or push dimmable, so it can join a DALI lighting control system or dim from a simple push switch. As a practical note, settle on 2700K or 3000K and on how many pendants you want before you order, so you can pick the right canopy at the same time.
