Description

The Zero Ellipse is a pendant light made as one slim oval band in a brushed brass finish, 130cm long and 59cm wide, with a section 3cm deep. A fine line of light runs around the inside of the ring from an integrated LED, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. It draws 47W and gives 4079lm of warm light with a CRI of 90, so food, fabrics and skin tones look true. We offer it in 2700K or 3000K: choose 2700K for a softer, warmer glow or 3000K for a slightly crisper white.

Its long oval shape suits a dining table, where it follows the line of the table, and it works as well over a living room seating area. It hangs on thin wires with a drop of up to 500cm, so it sits under a high ceiling as well as a standard one. It comes without its canopy: it needs a Zero Round ceiling canopy, sold separately, to hang from and to power it. The canopy has a built-in 60W driver for each pendant that turns the mains supply into the 24V DC the pendant runs on, and it dims the light by DALI or push dimming. Choose the single canopy, or one for 2, 3 or 4 pendants to hang a group from one canopy.

The pendant runs on mains power, wired in by a qualified electrician through its canopy's built-in 24V DC driver, and it is a Class III fitting. It is rated IP20, so it belongs in dry indoor rooms only. The brushed brass finish has a fine, even grain along the band, and the slim section keeps the ring light to the eye. A practical note: when you order, choose the colour temperature you want and the canopy that matches the number of pendants you plan to hang, as the pendant cannot be lit without it.
