Description

The Zephra is a 610mm diameter circular LED pendant light with a matt black powder-coated metal frame and an integrated 48W 3000K LED light source. The circular ring structure houses the LED strip behind an opal polycarbonate diffuser, which distributes light evenly downwards and inwards, creating a floating halo of warm white light suitable for ambient and task applications.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, bedroom centres and hallway voids, the Zephra hangs from a transparent PVC cable that makes the fitting appear suspended without visible metalwork above the ring. The 35mm height of the ring itself keeps the profile low, avoiding visual bulk in rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m. The 610mm diameter suits table lengths of 1.2-1.6m when used as a single pendant, or can be used in multiples of two or three over longer islands.

The matt black finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, so the Zephra provides illumination without creating glare on polished worktops or tabletops. The opal diffuser softens the LED strip inside, preventing visible point sources and giving a consistent ring of light around the entire 610mm circumference. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations only.

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at a fixed 48W output on 230V mains. Pairing it with a dimmer switch may damage the LED driver.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 35mm ring height and transparent cable make the Zephra suitable for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards. For dining tables the pendant typically hangs 700-800mm above the table surface; for kitchen islands 750-900mm above the worktop.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Zephra is suitable for dry indoor locations only and must not be installed in bathrooms, utility rooms, or any location where it may be exposed to moisture or steam.

What colour is the light output?

The integrated LED produces 3000K warm white light, which has a slight yellow cast similar to halogen bulbs. This colour temperature suits residential interiors and hospitality settings where a warm, inviting atmosphere is needed.
