Description

This tea mug is made for loose leaf: a stoneware body with its own lid and a mesh strainer that sits inside the rim, so you can brew one serving without reaching for a teapot. It holds 250ml, which makes a good everyday mug of tea or coffee, and at 11.5cm tall and 8cm across it is slim enough to sit comfortably in one hand. The finish is a vivid reactive glaze: a yellow ground with darker drips running down from the rim and a speckled lid. Reactive glazes shift as they fire, so each piece settles a little differently and no two are quite alike.
