This woven rug is 180cm long and 120cm wide, made from a blend of 76% cotton, 16% polyester and 8% viscose. Most of the blend is cotton, a soft and breathable fibre. Its natural ground carries a contrasting pattern: a lattice of fine dotted lines crossing into large diamonds, solid diamond motifs set within them, and a zigzag band near each end. Fine woven ridges run across the whole width and give the surface a ribbed, tactile texture, while plaited tassels finish both short ends.

At 180cm by 120cm it is a size that sits well in front of a sofa or under a coffee table in a living room, defining a seating area without covering the whole floor. It also suits a reading corner, the space beside a bed or the floor at the foot of a daybed. Because the colour is natural and the pattern is graphic rather than busy, it settles easily among wood, rattan and woven baskets, and it can be layered over a larger rug for extra texture.
