Description

Four glasses, each 16cm tall and 8cm across, holding 350ml. The bowl is a deep tulip that draws in towards the rim, set on a short stem and a small round foot. Fine hammered banding runs round the bowl in close horizontal lines, and the glass carries a faint green cast that shows most in the thicker parts of the stem and the foot.

350ml is a long drink rather than a short one: a craft beer, a cordial, a milkshake, or water at a table. The stem is short, so the glass still stands low and steady. The banding catches the light in separate lines rather than all at once.

The glasses are glass with a hammered finish that shimmers softly rather than reading flat. Four come in a set. The Yala range runs on to tumblers, highballs, wine glasses, gin glasses, champagne glasses, a jug and a carafe, all in the same hammered finish, and several of them in a sage green, a dusty terracotta and an indigo.
