Description

We stock the Wisp in graphite as an outdoor LED bollard light for garden paths, terrace edges and driveway borders. It is built from graphite-finished stainless steel with a vertical cage around an integrated 18W LED, which shields the light source from direct view while it casts 850 lumens of warm white (3000K) light down and outwards through a wide 180 degree spread.

We use it to pick out the edges of paths, decking and planting after dark. The cage sits the LED behind vertical ribs, so you get pooled light on the ground and adjacent surfaces rather than a bare glare, and the graphite finish sits back into borders and greenery during the day. It runs on a standard 220-240V mains supply, so it wires in like any fixed garden fitting.

The IP54 rating protects the internals from dust and water spray, so it copes with year-round British weather in an open garden. A 90 CRI keeps the colours of planting and stonework looking natural under the light, and the 18W LED is integrated rather than a replaceable bulb. It is non-dimmable and rated energy class E.

Frequently Asked

Is it suitable for outdoors?

Yes. It is rated IP54, which protects the internal parts from dust and water spray, so it is fine for year-round use on paths, terraces and driveways in the UK climate.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated 18W LED is non-dimmable, so it runs at a fixed 850 lumens of warm white (3000K) light whenever it is switched on.

Does it take a replaceable bulb?

No. The LED is built into the bollard rather than a separate lamp, so there is no bulb to buy or swap; the 18W module gives 850 lumens at 3000K.

What colour and material is it?

The body is stainless steel in a graphite finish, a dark neutral tone that recedes into planting by day and becomes the light source at dusk.
