Description

The Wilmslow is a Victorian-style lantern head in black cast aluminium, designed to fit onto existing lamp posts or columns. The 825mm-tall head houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately) behind four clear glass panels in a tapered frame, topped with a stepped finial and decorative scroll brackets at each corner. The black powder-coated finish resists weathering and corrosion while maintaining the matt appearance over time.

Designed for driveways, garden pathways, courtyards and estate entrances where a replacement or new lantern head is needed without replacing the entire post assembly, the Wilmslow mounts to standard 76mm (3 inch) diameter lamp post tops using a spigot base. The IP23 rating protects against rain and vertical water spray, making it suitable for UK outdoor conditions where the head is mounted upright and not subjected to direct hosing or submersion.

The cast aluminium construction gives the lantern a robust 3.2kg weight that sits securely on a post, with wall thickness sufficient to resist bending or denting under typical garden impacts.
