These two stoneware cups each carry a raised fish on the side, painted by hand, with the fish's tail standing out from the body like a small handle. One fish is spotted and the other striped, and a wavy painted band runs around each rim, so the pair belongs together without being identical. Each cup is 8cm across and 8.5cm tall and holds 200ml, which makes it a cup for tea or coffee rather than a large mug.
