Description

Willa is a pair of stoneware egg cups for anyone who thinks a boiled egg deserves its own seat at breakfast. Each cup stands on a small round foot, rises to a gently wavy rim and is brushed with broad vertical stripes, so the pair looks painted by hand rather than factory-neat. They are 5cm across and 5cm tall, with a 40ml cup that holds an egg upright and steady. The set is multicoloured: both cups share the same shape and striped pattern, but each has its own stripe colour and a different glaze inside, so they read as a pair without being identical.

Set them out on the breakfast table on a weekday morning, or bring them out for a slow weekend brunch with toast soldiers and a pot of coffee. They suit a family kitchen, a small flat where two egg cups are all you need, or an overnight guest who deserves a proper boiled egg in the morning.
