Description

The Whiteberry wall light pairs a ribbed globe of opal blown glass with a slim iron frame in matt black. The globe is fluted from top to bottom in fine vertical ribs and softly rounded at the shoulders. Its opal glass spreads the light evenly, softening the lamp inside and giving the wall around it a gentle glow. It takes one E27 lamp, the common screw cap, so you can choose the lamp that suits the room. The whole fitting stands 58.5cm tall, and the shade itself is 18.5cm tall and 20cm across.

Its modern, Scandinavian lines suit a bedroom wall beside the bed, a hallway or landing, or a living room where you want a softer layer of light than the ceiling gives. It would sit just as well in a quiet reading corner or beside a dining table. It works on an ordinary on-off switch, so there is no dimmer to match. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It runs on 220-240V mains, and as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install.

The frame is iron. A slender rod carries the globe at its top, a short arm reaches back to a round wall plate, and the rod runs on below the arm for a tall, upright line. The shade is blown glass in an opal finish. The fitting carries a 3 year guarantee.
