Description

Our Whiteberry is a flush ceiling light built around two ribbed glass forms. A wide, flattened shade sits up by the ceiling, and beneath it is a rounded, softly squared second section. The two are joined by a waisted collar in matt black, with a matching black canopy and base ring. The white blown glass is ribbed from top to bottom. Inside is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to fit. It gives 600 lumens of warm 3000K light from 10W, with a 360° beam that lets all the glass glow. It is 41.5cm tall and 30cm across, on a 12cm canopy.

It belongs in a bedroom, a landing, a hallway or a compact dining area, anywhere a ceiling light should give a soft, even glow rather than a hard pool of light. Because it fixes flush to the ceiling, with no stem, it suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low. At 41.5cm tall, though, it is worth checking the headroom beneath it on a low ceiling. A CRI of 90 or more means colours, from bedding to food on the table, look true under it. It switches on and off and is not dimmable, so it works from an ordinary wall switch.
