Our Whiteberries pendant is a cluster of three ribbed glass shades stacked one beneath another on a single drop, each a different shape: a wide, flattened oval at the top, a rounded cushion in the middle and a slimmer rounded column at the base. Collars in a gold finish sit between them, and the ceiling canopy carries the same gold. The shades are white blown glass, their fine vertical ribs catching the light, and the LED is built in, so there is no bulb to fit. It gives 1000 lumens of warm 3000K light from 14W, spread through a 360° beam so each shade glows all round. The fitting is 63cm tall and hangs from 2 m of textile cable, with a 12cm canopy at the ceiling.

Hung over a dining table, the stacked shades give a soft, even glow across a meal, and the tall, slender outline suits a hallway, a landing or a bedroom where a wide shade would crowd the space. A colour rendering index of 90 or more means food, fabrics and skin tones look true under it, which matters over a table where you eat and talk. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.
