Description

The Knightsbridge SN8260 is an 88mm diameter white ceiling rose moulded from thermoset resin, with an integral terminal block rated for two 1.5mm² cables. The terminal block sits inside the rose body, allowing the mains cable to be connected directly without requiring a separate junction box or connector block behind the ceiling.

Designed for pendant light installation in domestic and light commercial settings, the ceiling rose accepts flex from a pendant fitting and provides secure termination for both the supply cable and the outgoing flex. The 31.5mm projection from the ceiling keeps the rose body shallow enough to sit flush on plasterboard or solid ceilings without protruding excessively. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations away from direct water ingress.

The thermoset resin construction provides heat resistance and dimensional stability under normal operating temperatures, making it suitable for use with standard pendant bulb loads up to the circuit rating. The white finish matches standard white ceilings and white ceiling canopies on most pendant fittings. The Class II classification means the rose does not require an earth connection, simplifying installation where earth is not present or required by the specific fitting.
