These are four stoneware cups, each hand painted with a loose, sketched pattern of flowers and leaves over a glossy black glaze. What sets them apart is the handle, which is shaped like a small bird with its beak pointing outward and a painted flower at its heart, and the painting carries on from the side of the cup onto the handle. Each cup is 8.5cm across and 9.5cm tall and holds 325ml.
