Description
The Vita is a 200cm rectangular dining table with a high-gloss anthracite grey MDF top and rose gold metal legs formed from horizontal ladder-style rungs. The tabletop carries shallow grooves running parallel to the long edges, with raised gold-finished slabs inset at intervals along the surface, creating a stepped geometric pattern under overhead lighting.
Designed to seat six around a 200 x 95cm surface, the Vita suits dining rooms where the table is the primary focal point rather than competing with other large furniture. The 77cm height is standard dining height, accommodating most chairs without clearance issues. The rose gold leg finish provides tonal warmth against the dark grey top, and the ladder-style construction — horizontal rungs rather than solid legs — gives visual lightness despite the 72kg assembled weight.
The high-gloss lacquer on the anthracite MDF reflects light but shows fingerprints and dust more readily than a matt or satin finish, so the table benefits from regular wipe-down maintenance. The gold inset slabs are raised approximately 3-5mm proud of the main surface, adding tactile texture but requiring care when placing stemware or delicate items directly on the raised sections. The metal legs are powder-coated rather than plated, giving a consistent matte rose gold tone that resists tarnishing but can chip if struck by hard objects during moves.
Schuller manufactures the Vita in Spain. The table arrives flat-packed for self-assembly, with the metal leg frames bolting to the underside of the tabletop via pre-drilled fixing points. Two people are recommended for assembly due to the weight and size of the top panel.

Frequently Asked
How many people does it seat comfortably?
The 200 x 95cm top seats six people comfortably: two at each long side and one at each end. For regular use with place settings, six is the practical maximum. Squeezing in a seventh or eighth chair is possible for occasional gatherings but reduces elbow room significantly.
Does the table arrive assembled?
No. The Vita arrives flat-packed with the metal leg frames separate from the tabletop. Assembly requires bolting the leg frames to the underside of the top panel via pre-drilled fixing points. Two people are recommended due to the 72kg weight and 200cm length of the top.
How is the high-gloss surface maintained?
The anthracite grey lacquer shows fingerprints, dust and water marks more readily than matt finishes. Wipe clean with a soft microfibre cloth dampened with water or a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid abrasive sponges, acetone-based cleaners or placing hot items directly on the surface without protection.
What dining room size does this table suit?
Allow at least 100-120cm clearance on all sides of the table for chair pull-out and circulation. A room of approximately 400 x 300cm (4 x 3m) or larger will accommodate the Vita comfortably without the table dominating the space or blocking doorways.
