Description

The Violla is a 73cm-wide pendant light built from layered Opalflex petals arranged around an integrated 21W 3000K LED module. The translucent thermoformed petals overlap to form a loose floral bloom, with light passing through some sections and reflecting off others to create a layered visual texture. The fitting hangs from a fine steel cable with a maximum drop of 150cm, and the canopy conceals the driver and mains feed.

Sized for dining tables, kitchen islands, stairwells and double-height entrance halls, the Violla works as a single centred fixture above a 1.4-1.8m table or grouped in pairs across a longer run. The 150cm cable can be shortened during installation to set the petals roughly 700-800mm above a dining surface. At 1.5kg the fitting is light enough for a standard ceiling rose with a suitable hook, and the slim cable suspension keeps the visual weight focused on the petals rather than the fixings.

Opalflex is a thermoformed technopolymer that holds compound curves without warping and diffuses light evenly across each petal face. The white finish stays neutral against painted plaster, timber and stone, while the layered petals catch ambient daylight and pick up reflected colour from the room around them. Each petal is moulded individually and assembled into the central body, giving the fitting depth from every viewing angle, including directly underneath.

Does the Violla come with the bulb included?

Yes. The Violla uses an integrated 21W 3000K LED module rather than a replaceable lamp, so the light source is built into the fitting and supplied ready to wire in. No separate bulb purchase is required.

Is the Violla dimmable?

The integrated LED runs on 110-220V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model and driver, so please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm the correct setup.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 150cm cable is adjustable on installation and can be shortened to suit lower ceilings. For a dining table or island, the petals typically sit 700-800mm above the surface, which works well in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.

How is the Opalflex cleaned?

Wipe each petal gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with water is acceptable. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based sprays and abrasive cleaners, which can mark the thermoformed surface.
