Description

The Venexia is an outdoor floor lamp that stands 70cm tall: a slim column topped by a round glass head 22cm across. It comes in a Wood & Matt Brass finish, with a wood-grain column and matt brass at the head and the base. The light is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 594 lumens from 8W at 2700K, a warm white that feels at home after dark. With a CRI of 80, planting, stone and faces look natural under it rather than flat.

Rated IP65, it is sealed against dust and protected against jets of water, so it is made for outdoor use: along a garden path, at the edge of a terrace, beside a patio or by a deck where you want a low, warm glow at night. We like a few set out in a line to mark a route through a garden quietly, and at 70cm it sits well below eye level. It works indoors too, in a living room beside a sofa or in an empty corner, where its Wood & Matt Brass finish brings the same calm look inside as out.

The glass head sits beneath a matt brass top, set on a slim column that rises from a round matt brass base. It runs on mains power at 230V and carries Protection Class II. It is not dimmable, so it gives the same steady output whenever it is on and should not be used with a dimmer. When you plan a path or a terrace, allow for the 22cm head and the 70cm height so neighbouring lamps and planting have room to breathe.
