Description

We stock the Velora as a brown outdoor wall light for exterior walls that need discreet, practical lighting. It is built around a circular brown aluminium backplate with an integrated 8W LED module behind a frosted diffuser, giving 420 lumens of warm white light at 3000K through a wide 110 degree beam. The compact circular form suits modern and minimalist schemes where you want function without ornamental detail.

We reach for the Velora on patio walls, garden paths and entrance doorways, where it casts warm white light across brickwork and planting. It is rated IP54, so it is protected against dust and water splashes from any direction and is well suited to exterior walls under eaves, covered porches and gardens with overhead shelter. The brown powder-coated aluminium finish resists corrosion and fading through UK weather, and its shallow projection keeps the fitting close to the wall so it does not obstruct a pathway.

The 8W LED module is integrated and non-dimmable, running directly on 220-240V AC mains, so there is no external driver to wire in. With a CRI of 90 it renders garden plants, brickwork and outdoor furniture accurately under evening light, and its warm 3000K tone keeps the mood soft. The fitting carries an energy class of G.

Frequently Asked

Is this light dimmable?

No. The integrated 8W LED module is non-dimmable and runs directly on 220-240V AC mains, so it is not designed to work with a dimmer switch.

Can I use it outdoors?

Yes. The Velora is rated IP54, which protects it against dust and water splashes from any direction. We would site it on an exterior wall with some overhead shelter, such as under eaves or a covered porch.

Do I need a separate driver?

No. The 8W LED is integrated and wires straight into 220-240V AC mains, so there is no external driver to fit.

What colour is the light?

It gives warm white light at 3000K, and with a CRI of 90 it renders brickwork, planting and outdoor furniture colours accurately in the evening.
