Description

We stock the Velora as an 8W LED bollard light for outdoor use, built around a metal column in a warm brown finish. The integrated LED gives 420 lumens of warm white 3000K light in a wide 110 degree spread, so it lays down low-level illumination without a bright glare at eye level.

We use it to light garden paths, driveways, patio edges and entrance areas, where its low column height keeps the light source below standing eye height and washes the ground and nearby planting. The brown finish sits quietly against natural stone, timber and terracotta, blending into planted borders rather than standing out the way stainless steel or black aluminium can.

The Velora carries an IP65 rating, so it is sealed against dust and protected from water jets from any direction for year-round outdoor use. It runs on 220-240V mains, holds a high 90 CRI for accurate colour on foliage and paving, and is not dimmable. The LED is integrated, so there is no separate bulb to buy or replace.

Frequently Asked

Can I use this bollard outdoors?

Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, which means it is sealed against dust and protected against water jets from any direction, so it is suited to garden paths, driveways and other exposed outdoor spots all year round.

Is it dimmable?

No. The Velora is not dimmable, so it runs at a fixed brightness. We would pair it with a standard outdoor switch or a timer rather than a dimmer.

Do I need to buy a bulb?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting, giving 420 lumens of warm 3000K light, so there is no separate bulb to buy or replace.

What colour of light does it give?

It gives a warm white 3000K light with a high 90 CRI, so paving, foliage and nearby surfaces show their true colours in a wide 110 degree spread.
