Description
A tall glazed cabinet in solid mango wood, 187cm high on a 60cm width and 50cm deep. A single full height door, glazed and framed in wood with the inner corners shaped into gentle curves, opens to three fixed shelves and four compartments behind it. Below the cupboard sits a single drawer with a small metal pull. The outside is stained a soft charcoal that sinks into the open grain and leaves the figure of the wood showing through, while the back boards and the shelves inside are left in the honey tone of the wood itself.
At 187cm this is a full height piece against a wall rather than something that stands under a picture, and at 60cm wide it takes a narrow run of wall beside a chimney breast or a door. The glazed door puts whatever goes in on show, so it suits glassware, books with good spines or a run of ceramics, and the drawer underneath takes what is better out of sight.
The cabinet is solid mango wood with glass. Each one is built and assembled by hand, the charcoal stain carried on the outside only and the interior left lighter, and the wooden framework around the glass is shaped by hand into its curves. A wider Valin is made at 120cm across, at the same height and depth.

Frequently Asked
What are the dimensions?
187cm high, 60cm wide and 50cm deep.
How many shelves are there?
Three, dividing the cupboard into four compartments, with a drawer below.
What is it made from?
Solid mango wood with glass. The outside is stained charcoal and the interior is left in the natural tone of the wood.
Is there a wider version?
Yes. The Valin cabinet is also made at 120cm across, at the same height and depth.
How heavy is it?
47.6kg.
How should it be looked after?
Wipe surfaces regularly with a soft dry cloth. Mild soap and water can be used sparingly, always working in the direction of the grain, and the surface dried straight away. Use coasters and mats, blot spills immediately, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight and away from extremes of heat and humidity. Harsh chemicals and abrasive materials will damage the finish.
