Description

A cylindrical storage pot in recycled glass, 10cm across and 10cm high. The glass is ribbed from base to rim in close vertical flutes and tinted a smoky grey that deepens towards the foot. The lid is solid brass, flat on top with a deep rim that drops over the glass, and it is left in an aged tone gone uneven across the face.

It holds 450ml, which is a handful of cotton pads, cotton buds or bath salts, and the tinted glass shows roughly how much is left without the lid coming off. At 10cm across it takes a narrow shelf, a basin surround or a dressing table. It is dishwasher safe.

The glass is recycled and mouth blown into a mould, so the ribs come out even while the wall thickness and the depth of the tint vary from pot to pot. The lid is solid brass rather than a plated metal, and it drops over the rim rather than screwing down. The rest of the Valeska range is made in the same ribbed glass.
