The Valencia Large is a 1.93-2.83m adjustable-height lamp post in die-cast aluminium with a black powder-coated finish, carrying IP54 weatherproofing and a traditional six-sided lantern head. The single E27 socket sits inside clear glass panels within the lantern, casting light down onto pathways and out horizontally to mark boundary positions or driveway entries.

Designed for residential gardens, driveways, patios and pathway lighting, the Valencia suits both traditional properties with period detailing and contemporary builds needing classic street-furniture styling. The adjustable height allows the post to be set higher for broader light spread across wider driveways, or lower for more intimate garden path lighting. The 320mm projection from post to lantern edge means the fitting works where space is tight against walls or hedges. The post includes two horizontal arms below the lantern head for decorative detail.

The die-cast aluminium construction gives the post structural rigidity without excessive weight, and the black powder coating provides UV and corrosion resistance for coastal and inland installations without restriction. The IP54 rating protects the internal wiring and socket from dust ingress and water spray from any direction, making the post suitable for exposed positions subject to wind-driven rain. What bulb does it take?

The Valencia takes one E27 bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 6-10W LED warm white (2700K) or a vintage-style carbon-filament LED for traditional appearance.

How is the height adjusted?

The post is supplied in sections that telescope or stack to allow height adjustment between 1930mm and 2830mm during installation. Once set, the height remains fixed.

Can it be used in coastal areas?

Yes. The die-cast aluminium with powder coating and IP54 rating is suitable for both inland and coastal installations without exclusion zones, though periodic cleaning of salt deposits will extend the finish life in exposed coastal positions.

How is it installed?

The post requires a concrete foundation or ground anchor system (not included). Mains wiring is fed up through the hollow post and connected to the E27 socket inside the lantern head. Installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.
