Description

We stock the Twins as a two-globe LED pendant in black for over a table, island or hallway. Two opal glass spheres hang from independent black cables off a single black ceiling rose, each holding an integrated LED module, and together they draw 20W and give 1400 lumens of warm white (3000K) light at a high 90 CRI.

We would hang it in a dining area, over a kitchen island or in an entrance hall with a ceiling of 2.4m or higher, where it works as the main ambient light for a room of around 12 to 15 square metres. Because each cable adjusts on its own, you can drop one globe lower over a table as a task light and set the other higher as fill, or level both for a balanced, symmetrical look.

Each globe throws light across a wide 180 degree beam, so you get soft light in all directions rather than a focused downward pool, and the opal glass spreads the LED evenly to keep glare and hotspots down when you look up at it. The 90 CRI rendering shows colours accurately for food preparation and dining. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms only, and it is not dimmable.

Is this pendant dimmable?

No. The integrated LED in the Twins is not dimmable, so it runs at its full 1400 lumen output and does not need a dimmer switch on the circuit.

Can I set the two globes at different heights?

Yes. Each globe hangs on its own adjustable cable from the shared black ceiling rose, so you can drop one lower over a table and keep the other higher, or level both for a symmetrical drop.

Which rooms suit this pendant?

We would use it in a dining area, over a kitchen island or in an entrance hall with a ceiling of 2.4m or more. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor spaces, so it is not suitable for a bathroom or any damp or outdoor location.

Do I need to buy bulbs?

No. The LED modules are built into the globes and give 1400 lumens of warm white 3000K light, so there are no separate bulbs to fit or replace.
