Description

This twin batten fitting is a 5ft housing that takes two separate T8 LED tubes with the G13 bi-pin cap. The tubes are not included, so the right length and tone can be chosen to suit the room. The fitting itself measures 1535 mm long and is wired single-end (unilateral), meaning each tube is connected at one end only.

It suits ceilings and walls in garages, workshops, utility rooms and similar practical spaces where a clean run of linear lighting is wanted. Rated IP20, it is for dry indoor use only and should be kept clear of damp or exposed locations. Each tube holder accepts a T8 LED tube up to 58W, which is a maximum rating for the holder rather than a fixed figure.

The body combines metal and plastic in a white finish, keeping it discreet against a plain ceiling. Mounting is straightforward to a flat surface, with the twin-tube layout giving a wider spread than a single batten across a work area. Fit the two T8 LED tubes to complete the fitting before use.
