Description

The Tubino is a slim tubular LED wall and ceiling light in a Brushed Champagne finish, a soft, pale gold metallic with a fine brushed grain. A narrow tube 4cm across and 23cm tall sits on a short arm that holds it 15cm out from a round plate 10.4cm across. The light source is an integrated LED of 6.5W giving 339 lumens, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. Its CRI of 90 means colours, wood and skin tones look natural under it. It comes in two colour temperatures, 2700K or 3000K: choose 2700K for a warmer, cosier glow or 3000K for a slightly crisper warm white.

It fits on a wall or on a ceiling, fixed by its round plate. On a bedroom wall it makes a neat bedside light, and we like a pair either side of the bed to keep bedside tables clear. In a living room, two can frame a fireplace, a picture or a shelf, and in a dining room a row along one wall adds a soft layer of light around the table. On a ceiling, its small plate and slim head keep it discreet. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

Its construction is simple: one tubular head, a slim straight arm and a round plate, all in the same Brushed Champagne finish, so it reads as one clean line against plaster or paint. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician, with nothing else to buy to make it work. It is not dimmable, so it is for a plain on and off switch rather than a dimmer. When you order, pick the colour temperature that matches the other lights in the room, 2700K or 3000K, so every fitting glows the same.
