The Tubino is a white LED table lamp with a slim, quietly clever shape. A cylindrical head 23cm in height and 4cm across sits at an angle on a short arm fixed to a fine upright stem, and an arched cable loops from the top of the stem down to the head. The lamp stands 48cm tall on a round base 10.4cm across. Its light is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: 6.5W giving 339 lumens from the end of the head, with a CRI of 90, so colours look natural under it. It comes in 2700K or 3000K: choose the warmer 2700K for a softer glow or 3000K for a slightly crisper white.

At 339 lumens this is a focused light rather than one for a whole room, which is why it suits a bedside table in a bedroom, where a small pool of light is all you want late in the evening, or a side table in a living room beside a sofa or armchair. The narrow base and fine stem keep it from crowding a small surface, and the white finish sits easily against pale walls and wood. It is an indoor lamp rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

It is a plug-in lamp running at 230V: set it down, plug it in and it is ready to use. Its white finish runs over the head, stem and base alike, which keeps the slim lines clean. It is not dimmable, so it gives one steady level of light whenever it is on; if you want the gentlest glow, the 2700K version is the warmer of the two. It is a Class II fitting, so it needs no earth.
