The Tubino floor lamp is a slim, upright light in matt black: one fine stem rising from a round base, with two narrow tube-shaped heads set at angles near the top. It stands 165cm tall and its base is 30cm across, so it takes up very little floor space. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and the lamp gives 678 lumens from 13W. Its CRI of 90 keeps colours looking true, from the cover of a book to the fabric of a cushion. We sell it in two versions, 2700K or 3000K: choose 2700K for a warmer glow or 3000K for a slightly crisper white.

This is a floor lamp for the living room. Stand it beside a sofa or an armchair, where its two small heads give focused light without a wide shade taking up room around your seat. The narrow stem and compact base suit a tight corner, the space next to a bookcase or the end of a sofa against a wall, and the matt black finish sits quietly with pale walls and dark ones alike. With two heads on one stem, you get two pools of light from a single lamp. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The design is pared back: a round base, one upright stem and the two heads, all in the same matt black finish. There is nothing else to buy before you switch it on: the lamp plugs in and runs at 230V. It is not dimmable, so it works simply on or off, and it is rated Class II. As each lamp comes in the one colour temperature you choose, it is worth deciding between 2700K and 3000K before you order, thinking about the other lights already in the room so the two heads sit well alongside them.
