Description

The Maytoni Trinity straight connector is a 166mm inline joiner for 3-phase surface-mounted track lighting systems, allowing two lengths of Trinity track to be joined end-to-end in a continuous run. The connector maintains electrical continuity across all three phases plus earth, ensuring that track heads can be positioned anywhere along the extended run without interruption.

Designed for retail, gallery, hospitality and residential installations where track runs exceed the maximum single-length track available, the connector fits flush against ceiling or wall surfaces with a 32mm width and 32mm height profile. The white plastic housing matches the Trinity track finish, creating a near-invisible join when installed correctly. The connector is rated for AC 220-240V installations and suits both new track layouts and extensions to existing Trinity systems.

Installation involves sliding the connector onto the ends of two adjacent track sections and fixing it to the mounting surface using the integrated screw points. The internal contacts align automatically when the tracks are fully inserted, with a positive click indicating correct engagement. The white finish integrates cleanly with white ceilings and matches the standard Trinity track colour, making the join visually recessive in most installations.

Is this compatible with other track brands?

No. The Trinity connector is designed specifically for Maytoni Trinity 3-phase track systems. It will not fit other manufacturers' tracks even if they appear physically similar, as the contact spacing and profile differ between brands.

How is the connector fitted to the ceiling?

The connector slides onto the ends of two adjacent track sections and fixes to the ceiling or wall using screws through the integrated mounting points. The track sections must be fully inserted into the connector until they click into place, confirming that the internal contacts have engaged correctly.

Can it be used to join tracks at an angle?

No. This is a straight connector for inline joins only. For angled or L-shaped track layouts, a separate corner connector is required from the Trinity range.
