Description

The To-Be pendant light is a single slim rod in Brushed Bronze, 85cm long and just 2.2cm across, hanging on a fine cable. Its integrated LED sits at the lower tip, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 181 lumens with a CRI of 90, which keeps colours, food and skin tones looking true beneath it, and it draws 2.8W or 4W depending on the version. You can choose it in 2700K for a warm, soft white or 3000K for a slightly crisper one. It hangs on a drop of up to 200cm, so you can bring it down low or keep it near the ceiling.

We think it belongs over a dining table, hung low so its narrow line lights the table without blocking the view across it, and it works just as well in a living room, over a side table or in a corner beside a sofa. It comes in two canopy versions: with canopy, ready to hang on its own from a round canopy 5.5cm across and 13cm tall, or without canopy, for multi-pendant canopies (sold separately), so several pendants can hang from one canopy. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician. For the 24V DC version only, it needs a remote 24V DC driver, which is not included and is sold separately; the driver supplies the pendant with power, so it will not light without one. The Brushed Bronze finish has a soft brushed texture that catches the light along the rod, and the cable is fine, so the rod seems to hang on very little. Before you order, measure from ceiling to tabletop so you know how far it needs to drop.
