Tivisha Large Mango Wood Chopping Board - Natural

A long oval board in mango wood, 60cm from end to end and 20cm across, with a shallow well cut into the middle of it and a raised lip standing all the way round. One end is carved into a run of deep parallel grooves, which breaks up the plain wood and gives a place to take hold of the board. It is 2.5cm thick, pale in tone, and the grain of the mango runs along its length.

At 60cm long and 20cm wide this board runs down the middle of a table rather than serving one thing at a time, and the raised lip keeps a rolling olive or a loose grape on the wood. It takes bread, cheese and cured meat along its length. The grooved end stays clear of the food, so the board can be picked up and carried with a hand at that end.
