Description
This is a set of three red paper Christmas decorations, each built from many thin layers of paper folded into an open honeycomb that gives the shape real depth from every side. One takes an onion-dome form with a pointed tip, one is a long drop with a rounded middle, and one is a tiered Christmas tree. Each is small enough for a slim branch: one measures 10cm tall and 7.5cm across, another 12.5cm tall and 10cm across, and the third is 5.5cm across. Paper is a light material, and the weight given is just 0.07KG.
They are made for the Christmas tree, real or artificial, where the honeycomb shapes hang among the needles beside the glass baubles and wooden ornaments you already have. They work just as well on a few cut pine branches in a tall vase on a sideboard or windowsill, which suits a hallway, a small flat or a desk where a full tree will not fit. Having three different shapes in one set means the branches look varied rather than repeated. A set like this also makes a thoughtful extra tucked in with a Christmas card or a small gift for a host.
Each decoration is paper with a printed finish, folded in fine honeycomb pleats, and each hangs from its own loop of string at the top, ready to slip over a branch. Paper softens in damp air and creases under weight, so these keep best somewhere dry, and a box of their own after Twelfth Night stops the pleats being crushed among heavier ornaments. For the best effect, hang them at different heights near a window, where daylight falls through the folds, and keep the tree shape towards the front of the branches so its tiers can be seen.

Frequently Asked
What are these decorations made of?
They are made of paper with a printed finish, folded into fine honeycomb pleats that give each shape its depth and roundness.
How big is each decoration?
One is 10cm tall and 7.5cm across, another is 12.5cm tall and 10cm across, and the third measures 5.5cm across.
What comes in the set?
You receive three red paper decorations in three shapes: an onion dome, a long drop and a tiered Christmas tree, each with its own hanging loop.
Can I hang them on a real Christmas tree?
Yes. Each has a loop of string at the top that slips over a branch, so they suit a real or artificial tree, or cut branches in a vase.
How heavy are they?
The weight given is 0.07KG. Paper is a light material, so they hang comfortably from slim branches and the outer tips of a tree.
How should I store them after Christmas?
Paper softens in damp and creases under weight, so keep them somewhere dry, ideally in a box of their own away from heavier ornaments.
