Description

The Tiara is a 6 light chandelier built around two tiers of faceted crystal prisms suspended from a gold-plated ABS crown, mounted on a chrome structural frame with a polished chrome ceiling canopy. Each of the six G9 bulb holders (bulbs sold separately) sits behind the upper tier of gold-plated vertical elements, which reflect and multiply the light cast through the clear crystal prisms below.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Tiara hangs on adjustable cables allowing the drop to be set between 55cm and 150cm depending on the room proportions. The 51cm diameter suits tables of 1.4-1.8m length or areas where a mid-scale decorative centrepiece is needed without dominating the space. The polished chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the cables conceal the wiring run.

The combination of gold-toned upper elements and clear crystal lower prisms gives the chandelier a two-tone metallic and glass character that works in both traditional gilt-frame interiors and contemporary schemes pairing brass or gold accents with neutral walls. The faceted crystal prisms refract light into dispersed patterns on surrounding walls and ceilings when the chandelier is lit, adding movement to static spaces. At 10.34kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or reinforced ceiling rose.

The chandelier is rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use only and carries Class 1 electrical protection, requiring an earth connection during installation. Is the drop adjustable?

Yes. The chandelier hangs on adjustable cables, allowing the overall drop to be set between 55cm and 150cm during installation. This suits ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, with the chandelier typically positioned 700-900mm above a dining table surface.

What ceiling fixing is required?

At 10.34kg the Tiara requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or a reinforced ceiling rose rated for the weight. Standard plasterboard fixings are not sufficient — the fixing point must be anchored into structural timber or concrete.

Can the crystal prisms be cleaned?

Yes. The faceted crystal prisms can be wiped with a soft microfibre cloth dampened with distilled water. For more thorough cleaning, individual prisms can be removed (they typically hook or clip onto the frame), cleaned separately, and re-attached once dry.
