Description

We stock the Tenity recessed aluminium track profile in black as the channel that lets a track run sit flush within your ceiling rather than mount on the surface below it. It is an extruded aluminium profile that recesses into plasterboard or a suspended ceiling, so once it is plastered around only the narrow slot stays visible and track heads clip in from below to sit level with the ceiling line.

We reach for this profile in retail, gallery, hospitality and home spaces where a visible surface-mounted track would break up the ceiling plane. It accepts track heads and rail connectors to build a continuous recessed run for directional accent or task lighting, and heads can be repositioned along the slot without re-wiring, so you can change a layout as furniture or artwork moves.

The profile needs a cavity above the ceiling line to house it, so plan the void before you cut in. The matt black anodised finish gives a clean, non-reflective edge to the slot, and the aluminium body helps carry heat away from the track heads. Sections can be cut to length on site and joined end to end with rail connectors, which we sell separately, and track heads are sold separately too.
