Description
We stock the Tenity as a 2-metre three-circuit track rail in matt black extruded aluminium, the mounting infrastructure for a modular track lighting system. Three separate circuits run the length of the rail, so you can switch or dim different groups of track heads independently on the same run. It takes compatible three-circuit Tenity heads, letting you add, move or remove individual spotlights without any rewiring.
We reach for this rail in retail, hospitality, gallery and home settings where the lighting needs to change over time. It mounts to a ceiling or beam, either surface-fixed on brackets or recessed into a plasterboard or timber ceiling, and the matt black finish sits quietly against darker surfaces while pairing neatly with black or gunmetal heads. The 2m length suits most rooms on its own.
Each rail carries three independent circuits, so a typical layout might put ambient spots on one, accent lights on another and task lighting on the third, each on its own switch or dimmer. To build a longer run, join rails end to end with the matching Tenity connectors, corners and end caps, which we sell separately. Track heads, drivers and dimmers are also supplied separately so you can spec the system to the room.

Frequently Asked
Is this the rail on its own or a full kit?
It is the 2-metre three-circuit rail only. Track heads, connectors, end caps and any drivers or dimmers are sold separately, so you can build the run and choose the heads to suit your space.
Can I control lights separately on one rail?
Yes. The rail carries three independent circuits along its length, so you can switch or dim up to three groups of heads on the same run from separate switches or dimmers (sold separately).
How do I fit it, and can I make a longer run?
It mounts to a ceiling or beam, either surface-fixed on brackets or recessed into a plasterboard or timber ceiling. To extend it, join rails end to end using the matching Tenity connectors and corners, which we stock separately.
Will other track heads fit this rail?
It is designed for compatible three-circuit Tenity track heads. We would not recommend mixing in heads from a different track system, as three-circuit profiles are not cross-compatible between ranges.
