The Telonda is a flush ceiling light made from brass, with a round ceiling plate, a short stem and a wide, flared shade that sits over a single exposed bulb. It is 8.5cm tall and 16cm across, so it keeps close to the ceiling and leaves the room clear beneath it. We offer it in Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Polished Copper and Satin Brass. Bulbs are sold separately: it takes one E27 bulb, up to 60W per bulb, so you can choose the bulb and the warmth of light that suits the space.

Because it sits so close to the ceiling, the Telonda is a practical choice for a hallway, where a hanging pendant can feel in the way and a neat fitting overhead makes more sense. The exposed bulb and flared shade give it an industrial character that sits as happily in a period home as in a modern one. The choice of finish lets you match it to door handles, switches or other metalwork nearby. It is rated IP20, which means it is for dry rooms only. As a mains fitting, it is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician.

Every Telonda is made to order for you in Ireland, in brass, in whichever finish you choose. The polished finishes have a bright, reflective shine. Antique Brass and Antique Silver have a darker, aged look, and Satin Brass has a softer, quieter sheen. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered. As a practical note, choose your finish first. Then have a bulb ready for the day your electrician comes to fit it, so the light is working as soon as it goes up.
