Tanu Mango Wood Christmas Candle Holder - Brass & Natural

A ring 33cm across, twisted from brass finished iron wire, carrying four plain brass cups spaced evenly round it. Sprigs of small pale wooden beads are wired on to the ring in clusters, threaded a few at a time on their own fine wires so they stand off it like berries on a stem, and two larger plain brass beads hang among them. The cups stand 6cm above the table and take a dinner candle each.

At 33cm across the ring sits in the middle of a table and leaves the inside of the circle clear, so a bowl or a small vase can stand within it. The four cups are spaced a quarter turn apart, which puts a candle at each quarter of the table rather than in a line down it. It carries four dinner candles in the cups.

The ring is iron under a brass finish and the beads are mango wood. Each bead is cut by hand and the sprigs are wired on one at a time, so the clusters fall differently on every ring. Candles are not included. Tanu also makes the same ring in brass and ruby, and the range runs to beaded baubles and a layered beaded wreath.

How do I look after it?

Wash it with a mild dish soap and warm water and dry it at once after every use, so wax does not build up. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which may damage the finish. Stand the candles securely. It gets hot in use, so keep it out of reach of children, wait until it has cooled fully before handling it, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
