Description

The Tally is a 45x45cm square cushion with a textured cotton cover in a mid-tone green, edged with hand-knotted cotton tassels. The cover shows a visible weave texture across the central panel, with the tassels formed into knotted bundles at regular intervals around the perimeter. The cushion comes with a polyester fibre pad sewn inside the cover.

Designed as a layering piece for sofas, armchairs and beds, the Tally adds textural interest to plain upholstery or pairs with other cushions in tonal or neutral palettes. The 45x45cm size is standard for UK sofas and armchairs, allowing multiple cushions to be arranged without overcrowding a two-seater or three-seater frame. The knotted tassels give the cushion a casual, boho-leaning appearance that suits both rustic and contemporary interiors.

The cotton cover is a medium-weight plain weave with no pile, showing slight tonal variation across the surface from the natural fibre and weave structure. The hand-knotted tassels are formed from the same cotton as the main body, creating a single-material finish. The polyester pad filling adds bounce and shape retention without the weight of feather or down, and the cushion can be plumped back into shape after compression.

The polyester fibre pad is sewn inside the cotton cover and cannot be removed. The entire cushion is treated as a single piece for cleaning purposes.

The cotton cover can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The tassels should be allowed to air-dry naturally rather than being wrung or twisted. Check the care label sewn into the cushion for specific washing guidance.
