Takua Wide Iron Display Cabinet - Dark Grey

A tall glazed cabinet in iron, 180cm high, 120cm wide and 30cm deep, in a dark grey close to black. Two full-height doors are glazed in two panes each, divided by a rail at about the height of the handles, and each door carries a plain flat bar handle at the meeting edge. Behind them five shelves divide the inside into six tiers. The metal is left mottled and uneven across a panel rather than evenly coated, and the cabinet stands on four short splayed feet.

At 180cm high and only 30cm deep it takes very little floor for the storage it gives: six tiers at 120cm wide. It takes glasses, stacked bowls, books, plates and two baskets at once with room left over. Both doors are glass, so everything in it shows with the doors shut. It weighs 97.2kg empty and wants firm, level ground.

The carcass, the doors and the shelves are iron, and the door panels are clear glass. The dark grey sits on the metal itself, uneven across a panel so the surface reads as worked rather than sprayed. How do I look after it?

Use a glass cleaner on the panes or wash them in warm soapy water, and take a damp cloth to the metal. Nothing abrasive and no harsh chemicals on either, then dry and polish with a soft non-abrasive cloth. Do not stand very hot or very cold things straight onto the glass, and do not strike it with anything hard or pointed.
