Description

This Knightsbridge switch cover is a replacement rocker marked HOB in brushed chrome, designed to clip onto compatible Knightsbridge grid and modular switches. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide with a 6.8mm projection from the switch plate, and carries an embossed HOB designation on the face to identify which appliance the switch controls.

Used in kitchens to label dedicated appliance circuits, the cover removes the need to guess which switch controls which fixed load. The rocker clips onto the existing switch mechanism without requiring any rewiring — the original rocker is removed and this pre-marked cover is pushed into place on the same metal carrier. This works with Knightsbridge grid switch systems and compatible modular ranges.

The brushed chrome finish matches other Knightsbridge brushed chrome faceplates and accessories, providing a consistent metallic tone across switches, sockets and covers in the same room. The ABS and steel construction gives the cover rigidity without adding significant weight to the switch mechanism, and the IP20 rating confirms it is suitable for dry indoor use only.
