This Knightsbridge suspension fixing kit provides 2.5m of adjustable stainless steel cable suspension for surface-mounted panel lights and battens. The kit includes two pre-formed wire rope assemblies with cylindrical end fittings and barrel-style ceiling fixings, allowing a surface-mounted light fitting to be suspended at variable heights rather than mounted directly to the ceiling surface.

Designed for commercial, retail and warehouse applications where ceiling heights exceed typical office standards or where services run above the visible ceiling plane, the kit allows compatible Knightsbridge panel lights to be dropped to a working height that delivers adequate lux levels without requiring additional fittings. The adjustable length means the suspension can be set during installation to suit ceiling voids between 200mm and 2500mm depth. One kit is required per fitting.

The stainless steel construction resists corrosion in high-humidity environments including kitchens, food preparation areas and warehouses with limited climate control. The kit is compatible with Knightsbridge SURF236HF, SURF258HF, SURF270HF panel lights (including emergency versions), SUR5 series panels (including slimline and emergency versions), and PRCLED standard versions. It is not compatible with T8 battens, TR65, NC65 or AC65 series fittings.

The kit works with SURF236HF, SURF258HF, SURF270HF panel lights (including emergency versions), all SUR5 series panels (including slimline and emergency versions), and PRCLED standard versions. It does not fit T8 battens, TR65, NC65 or AC65 series fittings.

How many kits are needed per light fitting?

One kit is required per fitting. Each kit contains two wire rope assemblies with ceiling fixings, providing a two-point suspension for a single panel light.

What is the maximum suspension height?

The 2.5m cable length allows the fitting to be suspended up to 2500mm below the ceiling fixing point. The height is adjustable during installation, so the same kit can be used for shorter drops between 200mm and 2500mm.
