Description

These white pressed steel surface mount brackets allow Knightsbridge LWB90 and LWB165 low bay lights to be mounted directly to ceiling or wall surfaces without recessing. Sold as a pair, each bracket measures 85mm wide x 84mm long x 78mm high and features punched fixing tabs for secure attachment to the mounting surface and a top-plate aperture for cable entry.

Designed for commercial, industrial and warehouse installations where recessed mounting is not practical due to solid concrete ceilings, steel deck construction, or situations where the ceiling void is too shallow to accommodate the low bay housing. The brackets lift the low bay fixture off the surface by 78mm, creating space for cable entry and heat dissipation while maintaining a low-profile installation compared to pendant or chain-hung alternatives.

The white powder-coated finish matches the standard Knightsbridge low bay housing colour and protects the pressed steel construction from surface corrosion in typical indoor environments. Each bracket includes pre-punched fixing holes on the mounting tabs for screw or bolt attachment to masonry, steel or timber substrates. The central aperture on the top plate accepts the electrical cable run and provides access for wiring into the low bay terminal block during installation.

Which Knightsbridge low bay models are these compatible with?

These brackets are compatible with the Knightsbridge LWB90 (90W) and LWB165 (165W) low bay light models. They are not compatible with other manufacturers' low bay fixtures.

How many brackets are needed per low bay?

Two brackets are required per low bay installation — one at each end of the fixture housing. This pack contains a pair of brackets sufficient for one complete low bay installation.

What fixings are required for installation?

Fixings are not included. Use M6 or M8 bolts for steel substrates, expansion anchors or masonry screws for concrete, and wood screws for timber joists. Select fixings appropriate to the substrate type and the combined weight of the bracket and low bay fixture.

Can these be used for outdoor installation?

The white powder-coated finish provides basic corrosion protection for indoor use. For outdoor or high-humidity environments, additional weatherproofing or alternative mounting methods may be needed depending on exposure conditions.
