Description

The Superbold is a round LED wall and ceiling light in a Matt Black finish, 62.3cm across and 9.9cm high. A broad white ring of light sits within the black body around a dark centre, giving a clean, graphic circle on a ceiling or wall. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 32W and gives 2122lm or 2165lm depending on the version, with a CRI of 90, so colours and skin tones look natural beneath it. We offer it in 2700K or 3000K: the 2700K version gives a warmer, cosier white, and the 3000K version a slightly crisper one.

It fits on a ceiling or on a wall, and its shallow profile suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low: a hallway, a landing, a bedroom or a living room with a modest ceiling height. At 62.3cm across it has real presence, so it works well as the main light in a larger room, above a dining table or high on a stairwell wall. It dims on a compatible phase-cut dimmer, so you can turn it down for quieter evenings. It is rated IP40, which means it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The body carries a Matt Black finish, and the white ring and dark centre give the circle a simple, layered depth that sits quietly in modern and traditional rooms alike. It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by an electrician, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. Nothing else is needed to run it, though you will want a compatible phase-cut dimmer if you plan to dim it.
