Description

The Superbold is a round LED wall and ceiling light, 62.3cm across and 9.9cm tall, so it sits low and shallow wherever it is fixed. Its dished body has a brushed champagne finish, a soft, warm tone, and within it a broad white ring glows around a brushed centre disc. The light comes from an integrated LED rated at 32W, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. We sell it in 3000K or 2700K: the 2700K version gives a warmer, cosier white, while the 3000K version is a touch crisper. Depending on the version, it gives 2122lm or 2165lm.

Because it fits on a ceiling or on a wall, the Superbold works as the main light in a living room, dining room or bedroom, or as a broad wall light on a landing or above a sofa. At 62.3cm across it has the presence for a generous room, and its shallow 9.9cm depth suits lower ceilings where a pendant would hang in the way. A CRI of 90 means colours, skin tones and fabrics look true under it, which matters in a room you live in every day. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry rooms indoors.

The brushed champagne finish runs across the dished body and the centre disc, with a soft sheen rather than a mirror shine, and the white ring between them is where the light glows. It is dimmable with a compatible phase-cut dimmer, so you can turn it down low for a quiet evening and back up when you need to see clearly. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician, on a ceiling or a wall as you prefer. Each fitting comes in one colour temperature, so decide between 2700K and 3000K when you order, and the light you choose is the light you keep.
