Description

The Street 3 is a slim LED track spotlight: a small cylindrical head on a short stem that sits on a track. Its light source is integrated LED, so there is never a bulb to buy or change, and it gives 447lm from 7.2W through a 24° beam. With a CRI of 90, food, fabric and paintwork keep their true colours under it. We sell it in White, Black, Brushed Bronze and Brushed Brass, and in a 2700K or 3000K version, the 2700K being the warmer of the two. The head is 3cm across and 6cm long, the spotlight is 10.7cm tall, and its adapter measures 16cm.

It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and a kitchen suits it well: a run of these heads on a track above an island or a dining table puts focused light exactly where you want it. The spotlight is one part of a system and does not work on its own. It fits the Street 3 48V track, sold separately, which carries the power and holds the heads. The track needs a Street 3 48V power supply, sold separately, which powers it. You will also need a remote 48V DC driver, which is not included and provides the 48V DC the spotlight runs on.

It is a Class III fitting that runs on mains power through its track, at 48V DC, and the track system is for a qualified electrician to install. The light dims through DALI, so plan for a compatible DALI control system when the track goes in. You choose the finish and the colour temperature when you order: 2700K gives a warmer light over a dining table, 3000K a slightly crisper white over a kitchen island. Whichever you pick, the four finishes are easy to match to your ceiling, your cabinet handles or the rest of your metalwork. The track in our photographs is not included.
