Description

The Stone is a 60cm LED pendant light built around a multicoloured slate stone disc set within a black metal ring frame with an opal acrylic halo. An integrated 95W LED array behind the slate casts 1,354 lumens through the natural stone and the opal ring, turning the geological texture into the diffuser. The CCT function allows the colour temperature to be cycled between warm 3000K and cool 6000K white using a standard wall switch, with a built-in memory that retains the last setting between power cycles.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and lounge areas with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Stone provides both ambient and task light depending on the CCT setting chosen. The adjustable cable allows drop heights between 50cm and 200cm, so the pendant can be positioned 70-80cm above a dining table or higher as general room lighting. The black metal canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and includes gravity toggles for secure mounting into plasterboard or masonry ceilings. At 4.75kg the fitting requires proper anchoring.

Each slate disc is cut from natural multicoloured slate, so the mineral banding, tonal variation and surface texture differ between individual pieces. The stone shows greys, charcoals, ochres and occasional russet tones depending on the geological layer it was cut from. The opal acrylic ring around the perimeter softens the LED output and provides a secondary glow that separates the stone visually from the black metal frame. The IP20 rating limits this fitting to dry indoor locations only.

How does the CCT function work?

The colour temperature is cycled by switching the mains power off and on within two seconds. Each cycle moves through warm white (3000K), neutral white (4000K) and cool white (6000K). The fitting remembers the last setting used, so you do not need to cycle through the temperatures each time you switch it on.

Does the slate vary between pieces?

Yes. Each disc is cut from natural multicoloured slate, so the mineral banding, tonal variation and surface texture differ between individual fittings. Greys, charcoals, ochres and occasional russet tones appear depending on the geological layer the stone was cut from.

What ceiling height is needed?

The cable is adjustable between 50cm and 200cm drop. For a dining table the pendant typically sits 70-80cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above. Lower ceilings can accommodate the Stone if the cable is shortened during installation.

Is the Stone dimmable?

The integrated LED does not support dimming via a trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer switch. The CCT function operates using standard on/off switching only.
