Description
The Stockholm is a 2-light twin lamp post in black galvanised steel, standing between 1540mm and 2450mm tall depending on the extension configuration chosen. Each of the two light heads houses an E27 bulb (sold separately) up to 60W, fitted inside a caged lantern assembly with a clear polycarbonate shade and protective steel bands. The IP54 rating protects the electrical fittings from dust ingress and water spray from any angle, making the post suitable for coastal locations without exclusion zones.
Designed for driveways, front paths, garden entrances and larger patios, the Stockholm provides functional pathway illumination across a spread of approximately 850mm at the head. The two-light configuration covers a wider area than a single-head post, reducing the number of posts needed along longer driveways or entrance routes. The height adjustability allows the post to be set lower for front garden use (1540mm) or taller for driveway or estate entrance use (2450mm), with intermediate settings available during installation.
The galvanised steel construction is powder-coated in matt black, giving a low-reflectance finish that pairs cleanly with both traditional and contemporary architecture. The caged lantern design references Scandinavian coastal and dock lighting, where exposed bulbs behind protective steel bands provided both durability and visibility in harsh weather. The base plate mounts onto a concrete foundation or hard-standing surface using four fixings (not supplied), and the post sections bolt together with internal cabling running through the hollow column.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Stockholm take?
Each of the two light heads takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers use warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for outdoor pathway lighting.
Can it be used in coastal locations?
Yes. The galvanised steel construction with powder-coated black finish is rated for coastal use with no exclusion zone, meaning it can be installed in salt-air environments without voiding the guarantee.
How is the height adjusted?
The post is supplied in sections that bolt together during installation, with extension pieces allowing heights between 1540mm and 2450mm. The height is set once during installation and is not adjustable afterwards without disassembly.
What type of foundation is needed?
The base plate requires a concrete foundation or hard-standing surface with four fixing points. The base plate dimensions and fixing centres are provided in the installation manual (see Downloads tab if available). The post must be secured to prevent movement in high winds.
