Description

The Starluxe is a 1150mm linear pendant carrying six GX53 LED fittings arranged along a powder-coated black metal bar. Each of the six cylindrical heads houses a replaceable GX53 bulb, and the heads sit flush below the bar so they direct light downward in a narrow cone. The bar itself measures 85mm wide and 40mm tall, giving it a slim profile against ceilings above 2.4m.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and worktop zones, the Starluxe provides targeted task light across a linear span. The 2000mm adjustable PVC cable allows the bar to be hung 600-900mm above a worksurface or dining table depending on the ceiling height and the spread of light required. The six fittings are spaced evenly along the 1150mm length, so the bar covers approximately 1.8-2.2m of worktop or table space when hung at typical island height. The fixture is dimmable when paired with a compatible GX53 LED dimmer and dimmer-compatible GX53 bulbs.

The matt black powder-coated finish on the metal bar reduces reflections and pairs cleanly with black taps, handles and appliances common in contemporary kitchen design. The GX53 bulbs are sold separately, allowing the choice of colour temperature and lumen output to suit the room. The IP20 rating restricts the Starluxe to dry indoor locations only.

The Starluxe uses six GX53 bulbs, sold separately. GX53 is a low-profile LED disc format commonly used in cabinet and downlighting. Most users pair this with warm white 3000K GX53 LEDs between 7-9W per fitting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, the fixture supports dimming when paired with dimmable GX53 LED bulbs and a compatible GX53 LED dimmer switch. Standard rotary or trailing-edge dimmers designed for LED loads work with most GX53 bulbs.

What height should it be hung above a kitchen island?

For a kitchen island or dining table, the typical hang height is 700-900mm above the surface. The 2000mm cable is adjustable on installation to suit ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture ingress and must only be installed in dry indoor locations away from direct contact with water or steam.
