Description

The Sphere is a 5-light cluster pendant built around five 12cm polycarbonate globes suspended from a chrome ceiling canopy at staggered heights. Each globe has a textured internal surface that catches and disperses light, capped with a metallic half-dome in satin copper, satin brass or chrome. The cluster combines two copper, two chrome and one brass finish across the five globes, creating a mixed-metal arrangement without repeating adjacent tones.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and breakfast bars with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.8m, the adjustable drop allows the globes to be set between 50cm and 120cm from the ceiling. The 33cm canopy diameter houses five separate cable adjusters, so each globe can be positioned at a different height to create visual depth over the table. The integrated 24W LED array delivers 3000K warm white light at a combined output, controlled via the included RF remote or a compatible TRIAC or 0-10V wall dimmer.

The polycarbonate spheres diffuse the LED evenly through the textured surface, avoiding the hot-spot effect of clear glass. The mixed-metal finish gives the fitting versatility across both warm-toned and cool-toned interiors — the copper and brass pair with timber and terracotta, while the chrome keeps the palette balanced for greys and whites. At 2.98kg total weight the canopy mounts securely to standard UK ceiling roses using the supplied gravity toggles, with no additional ceiling reinforcement needed.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 50cm to 120cm. For a dining table or island the globes typically sit 70-85cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings can still use the fitting if the cables are adjusted to the minimum 50cm drop.

Can the individual globes be positioned at different heights?

Yes. The 33cm canopy has five separate cable adjusters, allowing each globe to be set at a different drop height during installation to create a cascading or staggered visual effect.

What does the RF remote control?

The included radio-frequency remote controls dimming. It does not require line-of-sight to the canopy, so it can operate the fitting from adjacent rooms or through walls within the RF range.
